1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Insights Malta platform ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all of the terms, you may not access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Insights Malta provides data analytics and visualisation tools for publicly available data in Malta, including planning applications, company registrations, property market data, short-let listings, traffic monitoring, and tourism insights.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must register for an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account.

  • You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Subscription Plans & Billing

The Service offers Free, Pro, and Premium subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe and renew automatically unless cancelled.

  • Prices are listed on our pricing page and may change with 30 days' notice.
  • Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis in accordance with applicable law.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service.
  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to extract data beyond the API limits of your plan.
  • Redistribute data obtained from the Service without attribution.
  • Upload malicious content or interfere with the operation of the Service.

6. Data & Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy. The Service processes publicly available data. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any public data displayed.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, designs, and code comprising the Service are the property of Insights Malta or its licensors. Public data displayed on the platform remains in the public domain.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Insights Malta shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malta. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Malta.
